St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church · Weekly Parish Newsletter
Not written yet — the short Beehiiv brief is a manual step (see README Step 1) and hasn't been
started for this issue. The full issue below is scaffolded but gated on the same real-content
blocker: the SerbFest recap needs actual photos/thank-you copy/attendance numbers from Max or the
board before either this or the full issue can go out. check_links.py will keep
failing until that's supplied.
Bilingual (English + Serbian side by side) so the whole board can review one file.
The English-only, Serbian-only, and no-preference-yet send versions are generated
from this one automatically — see build.py in the repo.
Full archive at the public newsletter archive — this is what the "Read this week's issue" link in each email points to. Sept 3 SENT status confirmed live in the Beehiiv dashboard 2026-09-09: 217 recipients, 57.01% open rate. Sept 10 confirmed sent 2026-09-14 (Beehiiv Posts dashboard): published Thu, Sep 10, 12:01 PM EDT, 217 recipients, 54.42% open, 19.66% click — the earlier "API blocked, needs manual copy/paste" note above was stale; Max evidently completed the manual send himself as anticipated.
